From what I read from reviews they realized last season dragged too much and this season has a lot of action.

Love it but I'll wait til the end of the season and watch it all at once. What I really hope for this series is that like Mad Men they have an exit strategy, rather than just going until the funding runs out.

They had a five minute sneak peek on AMC yesterday, looks like a great season.

Some good new characters and better pacing, I hope.

Re-watched the SE1 finale and still dying to know what Dr. Jenner told Rick at the end....

Combine that with the season 2 policeman they found with no marks.

I like the show, but the writing for the last season was flat out bad.
It's not just the lack of action, either.

There's not one likable character any more... The characters have become cliche typical, horror archetypes doing and saying the same stupid things.

You know this is the case when you couldn't give a rats ass who dies.

The first season was a large scope, action drama with zombies, the 2nd season was a soap opera on a farm, with little action and little zombies.

Still worth watching, it's just was getting further and further away from the impressive pilot episode.

Let's hope they have learned from past mistakes.

Yeah, that's true, but why whisper it in Rick's ear, especially at that point. Jenner didn't care about morale at that point at all.

What could be more profound than it's airborne and/or everyone already has it/will come back as a zombie when they die?

Rick pretty much came out and admitted to the group in last seasons finale what Jenner told him / the police with no bites / Shane turning walker meant.

Right, I'd forgotten. I have a terrible memory, and the slow pace of last season and the long break in the middle of the season didn't help.

Have you watched season 2 yet? Rick says to the group what Jenner said at the end of the last episode.
