Seattle is coming up very soon

For those coming to Seattle and ordered tickets One other thing you will need, EAR PLUGS. I dont know if im turning into a lod fart, or if its the 12th Man is that loud, but I keep going home with headaches from the noise, and my step son was having ringing in his ears after the game yesterday too.

Just buy a new captain's hat with ear flaps.

Does Seattle have very good fans? Probably.

Does the architecture of the stadium significantly help to increase the noise level? Yes.

I'm kinda sick of hearing how great Seattle's fans are.

Well to be fair, their Baseball team has been one of the worst in the MLB for the past 10 years and the NBA is dumb.

I agree with the overall sentiment though that their superfans are being pimped out to hard by ESPN and other media outlets. The monday night game against the Pack was ridiculous. They couldn't go three minutes without mentioning it.

Agreed, but it shows you how REALLY dumb woody and the Giants are in that they designed a stadium that actually lets as much noise OUT as possible.

The Baseball team is nothing more than a Yankee farm team, and the NBA will be returning in the near future. As a matt of fact the final vote is going on now for the new arena.

The 2 top shows in town are the Seahawks and the Sounders FC. The sounders are a different flavor than the football crowd, but even more rowdy.

Think Portland has 'em both beat.

I like Seattle, just never clicked with it like I did San Francisco (I lived in Marin County). Enjoy the West Coast, jm67.

been enjoying it for 6 years. I must say, I like it when Monday Night Football is over at 9pm.

The West Coast was a great change when change was needed.

Well, they are great. Infinitely better than Jet "home" fans. Seattle regularly fills the lower bowl of CenturyLink Field (formerly Qwest Field) for Sounders matches. I love futbol, I mean love it. Especially when the game is played at the highest level such as it is in Europe. However you slice it, 40K screaming people for an improving but mediocre MLS product is impressive.

Both lower and upper bowls were filled for last weeks match vs Portland.

I'm not surprised. I have been to Jeld-Wen Field in Portland. Small, but it looks and feels like a European Stadium.
