I was discussing it in the context of our short-lived attempt to get Peyton and it's complete failure

2 return TDs and 2 50-yard drives after turnovers. The only way you lose a game after being up 24-0.

The whole team checked out about 45 minutes ago.

Way too much Manning hype

Yeah, he's been PART of the comeback, making some throws, he still isn't the same Manning

This game is all about San Diego absolutely fumbling over themselves.

It's funny watching Rivers implode, worse than any Sanchez game I can recall, I only chuckle about the outrage Sanchez would receive if he played like Rivers is tonight..

You compared Sanchez to Peyton.... and he wasn't coming here. He would never play in the same city as Eli nor could we have afforded him..

@FauxJohnMadden: At this point, all thats left for Norv Turner to do is to pull a Ron Burgandy and tell San Diego to go f*ck themselves.

RayRay is right about this one. Manning played a flawless 2nd half, but that would have been irrelevant if the Chargers had merely played a semi-competent half of football.

This was a spectacular collapse. ESPN Stats posted earlier tonight that 442 teams have led by 24 points going into halftime, 3 have lost. You don't come back from that far down in the NFL just by playing well. You only win if the other team blows it.

all time Peyton classic. ps Rivers is an extremely good NFL QB.. would have been a Hall of Famer in the right situation and still could get there.

Sad thing is, there are boatloads of fools who would take Rivers over Sanchez in a heartbeat though they'd never put up with a choke-artist.

They refuse to see Rivers for what he is.

Oh wait, I forgot, it's all about "Passer Rating."

"Wins are a meaningless team stat" when ranking QBs.

IDK, Rivers has looked average to below average for the past two seasons now. He may very well be past his peak. You cant play much more worse in a half than tonight.

Many would disagree but you are correct....Sanchez also beat Rivers head to head. Sanchez may be average but give him time and he can get it done.
