How long has John Candy been Detroit's pitching coach?

I'm telling you lads, I saw the Sawx do it to the Yanks in 2004. I was in YS.

One win...and this juggernaut becomes a hah wtf oh no.

Too many big bats silenced, and alot of pressure on the TIgers to close it out.

This is not over.

What's more likely -- THAT, or Romney blowing out Obama on Nov. 7?

Get used to a Yankee championship-less Obama 2nd term, here in '012.

I thought if they could win it last night, if they could get to Verlander, it would completely shift the momentum and shatter Detroit.

And they had plenty of chances. Dude did not have his A game last night and his control was spotty. Of course, the Yankees didn't have anything offensively. Only run was produced, once again, in the 9th inning by a bench player.

Unfortunately, I think they are just done with this. It looks like they don't want to be there. They don't have the same mentality Boston had, and they most certainly don't have any assassins like Manny/Ortiz in the lineup right now.

They're cold as ice... doubtful they thaw out overnight.

that is the theme of this series. they tie up game 1 in the bottom of the 9th. Then fail to push a run across before they have to resort to Phelps VS. Cabrera/Fielder/Young

Load the bases three times in game 2, come through in any one of those situations and they win that game.

game 3 Verlander did not have his best stuff, and almost everyone was ahead in the count.

The way the pitching has been, and the match-ups for game 4, 5, and 6; I can seriously see them winning the next three if just one guy starts hitting, unfortunately I don't have any faith in the line-up that they are putting out there.

Getting rid of Arod will be a good first move to sell the team.

The only way they're getting rid of ARod is if they shoot him.

Game is postponed until tomorrow due to rain... and it's not raining. Now it's rescheduled until 4pm tomorrow, and I don't get home until 7.

Another reason people are losing interest in baseball. It's run by ****ing pusses.

Swisher once again proves he has no business being in the lineup.

He's so bad that it's actually funny now.
