It's amazing how similar every single game has been. I can't remember ever seeing anything like this -- like watching a funeral repeatedly. The good thing is, Cashman is going to clean fukin house this year. I think. And Tex totally blew that last inning. There have only been a few line drives hit off CC. With good -- or average -- defense, he's still working on a shutout. Last edited by TheMikeIsHot; 10-18-2012 at 05:32 PM. |

There was a WS in the 60S where the Dodgers with Koufax and Drysdale and Co shut down an opponent....maybe the Yankees sweeping them with multiple shutouts...
This one is looking eerily similar Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2 |

6-0 now.
Girardi should take CC out. No need to make him go through this. The season is over now. |

These guys threw in the towell when Jeter went down.
I turned the game off so I didn't see the second bomb. Joe can't make CC finish this. |

I don't see how this team is going to change much outside of getting a new RF.
Arod is going nowhere with that contract. Yanks are picking up Grandy's option even though he sucked. Cano and Tex are going nowhere. Nor should they. Girardi loves Martin and he handles the staff well. Our bench and bullpen were good all year. So basically it is just Swisher. We are not signing Hamilton. |

Yankee haters are going to come out in force now. They'll try to convince us how rooting for a .500 baseball team that doesn't make the playoffs is more satisfying than rooting for the Yankees.

Part of being a Yankees fan is taking the sh!t talk from the haters when they don't win. I expect it. Those jokers wish their teams could contend every single year like the Yankees do. I take comfort in knowing that this is the best organization in sports. |

And A-Rod is gone. That relationship is irreparably damaged. I don't see him back under any circumstance. They'll eat most of his salary and move him for a low level prospect. It will be an interesting off-season, that's for sure. |

I would think they have to focus more on grinders, stop bringing in the high priced talent. Not that a good free agent signing or two are bad, but I feel like everyone they have swing the bat the same way. I'd love to see Swisher replaced with a guy like Bourn, maybe work a trade with some of the pitching depth. Justin Upton was rumored to be on the block. i think they can fix this with trades and they may need to take back a bad contract to let Arod go. Quote:
