The play calling on first down was as predictable as ever. They have to mix in a few passes on first down, the Pats were 3-4 yards in the Jets back field on thos first down runs, they knew what was being called. Mix in the horrid goal line calls and you have a wretched game by Sparano.

Did they call play-action at all on 1st down?

You're right. The Pats were charging the LOS on 1st down like they knew what was coming every time.
