Yes, fire tanny has to be the takeaway from this loss to the Pats. What kind of GM are you if your team can't beat the Patriots on the road, without your best defensive player and pass receiver?

3 weeks ago I was right there with you, but you have to tip your hat to Rex for the job he's done. No Revis, no Tone, yet this team keeps fighting and staying in games. I have to give Rex his props for having this team prepared. He still has some things he needs to work on, and I still question some of his decisions and development, but only time will tell if he will adjust, he ain't goin nowhere anytime soon.

Now Tanny on the other hand, should have been fired yesterday. The way this team was built is inexcusable. The only thing he is good at is managing the cap. He cant draft and he cant evaluate talent.....

Fire everybody. Cut Sanchez. Hire Chip Kelly. Draft Geno.

Win.

This is probably our best bet. Like I said he is great at managing the cap, but can't draft and can't evaluate talent.

Hey Woody, U wanna keep your butt buddy? Hire a front office staff from the Ravens, Packers, Steelers, Giants (Teams with proven teambuilding track record) as director of player personnel and let Tanny keep his "title"

Logical solution if you ask me....

LMAO this is the same guy that said Wayne Hunter is here to stay, I think Gholston can turn into a player, This is the most talented Jets team I ever had, etc.

The whole problem with that sequence was they waited for 3rd down to pass. IF you are going to put the ball in the air you do it on first down. Running into the line on first and second down, and then throwing the ball on third down is about as predictable as it gets. Getting sacked there was not that bad of a play.

amazing that we have a HC with a career record of 31-24, not to mention 4-2 in the playoffs, and people think that warrants a firing.

stick to your day jobs, it's clearly not football.

I think Tanny is a bigger issue than Rex, but the owner seems to be attached to both guys. The Jets always seem to have scapegoats when things go wrong...who will it be if they miss the playoffs this year?

I agree and I've talked about this too. If people here think Rex is a bad head coach, then watch some of these other NFL teams and the way they're run every Sunday. If you're ranking head coaches 1-32, I think Rex is definitely in the top half of that list.

Rex is a good head coach. He is not working with much and the QB play is very poor. Tannenbaum has to go though, he has done an atrocious job of building this team, we get worse every year
