That's right, but if only they'd put in Tebow, then they would win the Super Bowl?

Tebow isn't even good enough to be a BACKUP in the NFL.

That's why I only mentioned McElrat....You follow?

Sanchez is 10x the QB that Tebow is, but the late game mistakes are going to lose us the veterans on this team, and possibly the young guys too. You bring in Tebow, you hope he rallies the troops, you throw a hailmary...and hope that Tebowball wins you enough games to get into the playoffs.

With a QB, its all about trust...and i am afraid Sanchez has lost a lot of good faith in the last season and a half.
Go here and explain how you know more than the people who see Tebow and Sanchez every day and choose not to make the switch:

Not to mention Seattle's D is not the best D to start Tebow against. Perhaps the only chance he has is if Rex is afraid Wilson will Tebow the Jets all game long and will look stupid if that happens with Tebow running 2 plays a game.

I still say the best move is if the Jets can somehow make an MJD-Tebow trade happen.
Why are you still here? Go away. Try the Patriots or Rams site. Honestly, WTF are you doing here?

I don't follow. Tebow is god awful, we seem to agree on that. What we don't agree on is that McElroy is an unknown quantity at this point. If the season degenerates to where they're 3-9 or 4-10, why not play McElroy the final couple games to see if he can perform when the lights are on? Nothing to lose, if the season spirals that far out of control.

Well in that scenario, I see your point but remember....this is Rex Ryan we are talking about.

He's going down with Mark Sanchez if that's what transpires. His career is hitched on how Mark performs.

Tebow is no answer

first off, he caught lightening in a bottle last year. That will never happen again.

Secondly, Jets fans just remember the final four minutes of the game last year against Denver. Remember how terrible he looked the first 56 minutes.

Thirdly, people remember the one TD pass vs. Pitt...

Fourth, it took a total collapse by the rest of the division for Denver to make the playoffs, b/c they collapsed themselves at the end of the year. Couldn't keep up the weekly miracles w/ Tebow.

Fifth, Pats smoked Tebow teams last year 2x by 30+ each game. He did nothing against them.

Sixth, you can't run 3 yard dive plays and jump passes all game long.

Sanchez is very average, but he's way better than Tebow....

If Tebow was as magical as everyone thinks he is, how come the guy hasn't come anywhere close to scoring a TD all year?

You would think with his unbelievable ability to rally the team around him, he would part defenses like the Red Sea in his limited snaps.

or maybe he's just not that good.

1st half not so good. 2nd better.

So how did Sanchez do in OT?

This uncorrected habit alone should be enough to get him benched

So, don't play our 3rd QB either? just roll with Sanchez then, whatever comes?

give mcelroy a chance, see what he has. Chances are he wont be that great out there, but what could we lose? the season is lost anyway. We know what we get with sanchez, and teblow is nothing more than a glorified FB and always will be

I disagree. I don't know why YOU think Tebow won't be any better than Sanchez. I've sat here all season watching Sanchez as the starting QB before determining that he kinda sucks, especially in the fumble department. Nobody has seen Tebow at starting QB for even ONE Jets game, yet you've already made up your mind that he will suck. Well, he won't. Give me a chance to see Tebow start a game or two, and I might decide that Tebow > McElroy > Sanchez. And if I got a chance to see McElroy start a game or two, I might determine that McElroy > Tebow > Sanchez. Compare apples to apples: Each QB starting for the same Jets team at least one game. Hell, how about even one quarter?

Your powers of deduction are just awesome. You'd make a great detective cause you'd solve each case before you investigate. Brilliant.

You wanna try McElroy, go for it
But no to tebow
im on board for this.
this move needed to be made about three weeks ago.
worst case scenario have tebow and mcelroy split halfs

and make sanchez clean the jock straps for the team afterwards.
gotta pay him for something right???

I didn't know it was possible to make a 3 minute Tebow highlight reel with how little we use him. Intriguing.

He might have sidearmed that one throw, but did you notice that every one of his throws were right on target ?
