Rams #2 pick…

Before the season, there was a rumor that the Jets inquired about the #2 pick, but that the Rams asking price was too great...

The Redskins ended up giving up their 2012 - #6 pick, 2013 – 1st rounder, 2014 – 1st rounder and 2012 – 2nd rounder.

Knowing what we know now, what would you have given up to make that trade?

Yes, and it's not even debatable for rg3 or luck.

We have won 4 playoff games, and almost made the playoffs with one of the worst qb's statistically in the league the last few years.

Throw in the fact that rg3s contract is super cheap compared to Sanchez and its an easy decision.

I wouldn't do this just for any qb, but those two guys in particular were the best qb's to come out in a long time. Shannahan made one of the best move in his career.....

When we traded up to aquire Sanchez we could have stayed put and Drafted Josh Freeman and had a better opportunity to trade up again with our 2nd round pick and whatever else it might have taken to get Percy Harvin.

This Jet front office has Passed on Jay Cutler for Clemen Clemens and Josh Freeman for Mark Sanchez all because of an eye ball test.

The latter decision being made by guys who know less about offense than Tony Sparano.

The jets were not in the same or any position to make the trade as the skins. The skins had cap money, no long term big money deal with an existing qb and a higher draft pick.

If I had the pick I would have wanted 2#1s and two #2s and Wilkenson.

The jets were not going to draft a QB even if they traded up to #2.

RG III remorse thread?

Is that what this is?

YOU WANT REMORSE?

WE DRAFTED KEN O'BRIEN AHEAD OF DAN MARINO.

There's a ton to be remorseful about.

I have 2:

Vinny's achilles popping on the first snap in 1998.

Pennington's shoulder injuries. Chad was a hell of a QB and will be an amazing coach/coordinator if he ever decides to do so.

No simply because the Redskins are boned for 3 years and really can't build a good team around him. They have to rely on the FA market now which is not the way to win a SB.
