Don't be too hard on him; he has to learn to secure the ball in that case. He saw daylight and ...

What kills me about Sanchez is total lack of ‘game situation’ awareness.

- Knowing when to take a sack
- Knowing when to throw it away
- Knowing when you can take a risk

How the f*ck do you rollout of the pocket and still get sacked? You’re out of the pocket, chuck it into the stands!!! Folk will not always hit 54 yarders with the game on the line.

What exactly was he trying to do on the game ending sack? Make a play while falling to the ground?

agreed that he should've secured the ball and just taken the sack, even if it meant losing yards. we were gonna be playing 4 downs anyway. at the same time he had two guys on him before he even had chance to get set, not excusing the fumble but the Pasts* earned that play with their aggressive D.

on the roll-out sack at the end of regulation, he HAD to take the sack in order to keep the clock rolling. that actually showed good situational awareness. of course it didn't make a difference since our D allowed Brady to merrily march down the field for a FG instead of going for the juggler.

Watch the slo mo again, while going down he cocks his arm in an attempt to throw it.

It tacked on 15 yards to the FG to make it 54 yards. All it did was make a longer FG, and force NE to call a TO (like Brady needs em anyways )

Look at it this way - If they had won yesterday, they would TANK it this week vs. Miami. So now they beat up Miami instead. Either way they come out of this 2 week stretch 1-1.

Also, on the radio this AM - Host pointed out some possible clock shenanigans-

He said something like how does a 42 yd field goal, kick-off with a return, a fumble, and fumble recovery, only take 10 seconds?

All I know is that I would have preferred to have just gotten blown out 45-7, instead of investing another hour which delayed the inevitable.

****ing Jets.

I hear ya. I definately prefer a 47-3 asswhoopin instead of stealing defeat from the jaws of victory.

hey French fried f****t, I said I'm not excusing the fumble, just that the Pasts* made a good play on D by being aggressive and forcing Sanchez into a bad decision.
