I was obviously talking about his son Joe Kennedy Jr who made the greatest sacrifice when he died in action in WWII.

Ireland is proud of the Kennedy family. We took great pride in the election of an Irish Catholic.




I wonder if Italy feels the same way about the Gotti's.

We obviously know how Jack and Bobby met their demise. Going into the politics and accomplishments of the 3 brothers that were politicians is rather pointless, considering we won't agree on anything. So we agree. they have hoarded their wealth in trusts for no benefit other than tax evasion AND like millions of Americans, lost their lives in battle. I salute the soldier no doubt. But not the drunk driver in Chapaquidick or rapist in Palm Beach, shall we bring adultery into it?

But...of course I will not, as you astutely point out, compare them to the wealth creators like Dell, Gates, Jobs, Walton etc. Those men made millionaitres of factory workers and improved ALL of our lives.

Italy is a joke. Berlusconi was sentenced to 4 years in prison today whilst his sexual assault trial continues.

The Irish, of course, are similarly short-sighted. Ireland also welcomed Obama in a similar fashion, because his mother was half Irish or something.
