On the coast, a little north of Boston...wind and surf really started picking up around 8-9 pm. So far it just feels like typical fall noreaster. No big deal. Except these outer approaches of the storm feel like the typical noreaster at its height.

Just came back from a stroll along the Hudson in Edgewater.

**** is getting intense. Felt like 30mph gusts allready, Hudson River looked like it was on drugs.

I think NYC is going to get hosed on this one more than people think with this storm surge.

I actually get up earlier than this to go to work though, normally I'm in the office by 6am.

But today Im working from home for as long as the power holds up.
Wasn't expecting these kinds of wind gusts already this morning.

The trees....my god all of the trees near the house. I won't be able to sleep for 3 days...
