My wife said, "I hope our bayfront doesn't become oceanfront."

I'm more worried about the basement becoming an indoor swimming pool.

The big hoax just flickered my lights and I just saw on the weather channel that there's water lapping over the seawalls in Battery Park City...with another 6'+ of rising tidal surge coming.

At the very least, lower manhattan is going to be a literal disaster area and the subways will flood out. I hope those people evacuated.
