I get concerned when Romney alludes to devoting more troops to Afghanistan when we are finally drawing down after a decade over there and letting the Afghans fight for their country.

This may come as a shock but we can't change the governments of foreign countries or convince them all to become Jeffersonian democracies. So what is your proposal, should we put troops on the ground in Syria to find those relenetlessly elusive WMDs or should we have the US troops fight Syria's civil war for them?
