Look at the price WASH paid to move up a few spots last year. Not that they are complaining, but they gave up a ton. |

I think Tim Tebow is a superb athlete. However, QB is not the position where he'll succeed. We've all seen the faults in his mechanics and his poor decision making with the football. Tim Tebow would be best served if the CS found a way to get him on the field but not at the QB spot. Say RB, FB, or TE. I think he'd be great in that role. He'd also bring that big play ability to the offense. As Sanchez is shot, Greg McElroy should be able to give the team a lift. If not for anything else than he isn't Sanchez. He won a couple of national championships if that stands for anything. |

I want no part of Tebow. The guy is awful. I'll go with Mark all the way until the bitter end before I'd want to see Tebow in there.
If Sanchez is benched then I'd only want to have a look at McIllroy so yeah I agree with the OP. |

I hated us getting Tebow from day one but I'd sooner see him start over MS as of today. I Like McElroy. I hope he keeps soaking up all the knowledge he can while holding the clipboard just like QB's used to do in the past. We're not getting a QB in next years draft so McElroy will have his shot before it's all said and done. |

After we lose to fall to 3-7 we'll be facing the humiliation of 40,000 no-shows and cascades of boo-birds on national TV on a holiday and no way Woody Johnson can tolerate that. It'll be Tebow time. They'll announce him as a starter, it'll energize the fanbase, it'll be good for NFL ratings, and it'll fill those 40,000 seats with New York fans. McElroy is not going to see a snap this season. Wish he would, but it won't happen. SAR I |

Mcelroy has a high school arm.
He really and truly does. He has a frail build and a High School arm. There are no answers on the roster. - Is David Garrard still on the street? - I actually - just today - ended my Sanchez hope. I'm on the pessimism band wagon with the kid, he's regressing. - At 3 - 6 it may be advantageous to pull a Shannahan and simply evaluate talent the rest of the year. I don't want to win some meaningless games at this point and hurt our ever improving draft position either. We have high pick with only 3 wins right now. |

We'd have between the 5th and 11th draft pick if the season ended today.
Let's not screw that up. |

The market for a QB or pass rusher will be expensive if we want to move up for a guy we really like. - Carolina is not taking a QB so that helps. But they will draft a pass rusher so that hurts. - Jacksonville will take a QB unless we could pull off a miracle and send them Tebow. If not a QB then OL/DL. - Kansas City will take a QB. - Cleveland might take a QB or they will take a DL/OLB or WR. - Washington isn't taking a QB. WR or DL/OLB - Buffalo will take a QB. |

It's not rocket science. How come Jets got all this bumbling at the pro level and other teams got relative plain sailing? |

They have one!!!! Coples is getting better each week. It takes a little time sometimes. You can't win unless you score points and this Jet offense cannot score points. They need to keep drafting a QB with there best pick until they land a good one. I agree that Mcelroy should get a chance. I will not watch the Jets play anymore if sanchez is the starting QB

Coples is being utilized on the INSIDE for some reason. We need someone on the OUTSIDE now. Like when Abe was here. You can never have too many pass-rushers and the Jets only have ONE(Coples) and I don't even believe he should be on this inside in the first place.... |
