Damage from Sandy (none!!!!!)

Had a house fire on November 5th (Guy Fawkes Day no less. Go figure) and will now be in a rental for a year

Didn't give in on argument with wife that we should all just go up to bed and that the smoke was just something caught in the fireplace trap

Not dead right now because of that (wife is somewhat chastened by the way and so extra nookie may certainly be in the cards)

Basement fire was ready to escape the basement we are told. :{

All in all a hell of a week and I see the Jets have been doing some melting down of their own. :{

The competition for contractors around these parts is going to be something fierce :{

But I am alive biatches !!!! <grin>

My parents live in Oceanside. Power out for almost a week. They were lucky considering others still don't have power.
