Mods, lock, dump and ban.

See? Told you the mods suck!

Seriously, my wife was just commenting on how apathetic I am about the team this year, that she had never seen me that way. I've been "meh" the whole season, but I am glad for the win as it lends some ooomph to the game Thursday.

Looking forward to coming back to this thread when we have a shot at 5-6 with a week and a half of rest.

This board will be going off the deep end about how we're "still alive".

Really sucks to be back in it in mid-November.

Why "doubtful"? They only beat us by 3 in OT at Gillette. This time the Jets have no choice but to go all out to win this game, they simply can't lose it. I'm thinking...

Jets - 28

Pats - 24

If you think we're back in it after a win against a sorry out-of-division Rams team you are truly naive.

We need one of 2 things to happen to make the playoffs:

-Win the division (not happening)
-10 wins for a wildcard (Def not happening)

This equals being out of it in mid-Nov.

Why do you say 10 wins when 9 wins and even possibly 8 wins could get a WC for all we know? We won't know how many wins it will take for a WC till at least Week 14. Then look at the Jets remaining schedule after the Pats and realize they could win all those games because none of those teams are any better than the Rams.

+1, AFC isn't very good this year...2009 the Jets were 4-6 also. A win on Thanksgiving will have Jet-land buzzing again.

What if Jesus promises Rex some divine intervention in exchange for Tebow getting more playing time?

It's my opinion based on the standings today and the schedules ahead that it will take 10 wins to get in as a WC.

Then that guarantees us even less wins.

Yep, the sad reality. The younger folks havent experienced this yet. This is one of those years where watching the Jets is very much like watching Titanic. You keep hoping it won't sink, but in the end.....

I think that calling it quits with a more than a third of your season yet to be played, in a terribly weak AFC conference, in a league of absurd parity that has given new definition to the phrase 'any given Sunday' is truly naive.

Teams like Jacksonville are out of it in mid-Nov (by the way, did you see what they did today?). The Jets aren't out of it by a long shot.

Decades of experience as Jet fans tells us they are done. I dont want to call out Sooths age, but I know he is slightly older than I am and I have been watching this franchise for 4 Decades.

How much for a large Kool aid?

It was nice to see some of our players play well. Eilk, Davis,Greene, Kerley, Shillens to name a few.

10 wins would be nice, but 9 might very well do it. It's a weird, weak conference this year, I think the NFC is much stronger. We have the likes of Jacksonville, Buffalo, Tennessee and Arizona coming up. Who knows?
