As @tomecurran reported, Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski broke his forearm. Am told he did it on the Patriots' last extra point.

I was so hoping they would cut Edelman to keep Ocho or Branch. lol I remember the beginning of the year all the Pats fans here where naming who they thought where going to be their WRs and only one of them where under 30 and that was Gonzo.

Patriots go for a score in a meaningless preseason game.

Jets just had a nice win and this is what Jets fans are discussing at the top of the board.

Stingley is a football tragedy

Comparing the two is so wrong

I know exactly what it says.

He means that wouldn't it be cool if the player got injured in garbage time as some sort of twisted justice for BB "running up the score".

Totally classless.

Ocho ?? He couldn't find his butt with both hands.

Other than Brady and Branch being on same page, Branch has been a major disappointment this season. Branch being cut gives Edelman and Salas more play time which is good. I'm sure Branch is on BB's speed dial for later in season if needed in emergency.

Shame about Gronk's injury. Still no timetable on how long out. Not sure if it's a week or two or a season ender.

I never knew that was a pre-season game... What a terrible tragedy that was!

Classless would be to cheer the injury. Which that is not the case here. Your just making something out of nothing. Plain and simple. End of story

Funny. Here YOU are on a Jets site and the top of the page is a Pats thread celebrating an injury after you just beat a scrub Rams team.

hahaha?

This is the second thread that you've called for class on an Internet forum where you come to stir the pot and talk trash to rival fans.

If you want class, this probably isn't the place to call for it.

I don't care about Gronk outside of football...and within the confines of football, I couldn't be more thrilled that he may not be on the field this Thursday when my team plays his.

Did you read what your fan boards were when Revis went down?
