What fans should be excited about is the fact that this kid is always open. what fans keep focusing on is the fact that this kid is struggling holding onto the football. A rookie WR is struggling with 1 aspect of pro football and it's not his ability to beat his opponent.

Could it be that this kid is thinking so much about his assignments that his focus maybe affected. I am ok with This Rookie, because i see the potential and when he stops thinking and starts playing, we won't be able to afford him.

I was thinking they should shut him down until next year. I think he will help this team in the future. He is just lost right now. I really don't see him improving this year.

@ConorTOrr: Tebow said Westhoff put the fake punt call on, he had the option to call it off. Was not one of the plays he can call on his own. #jets #nyj

Would like to see them get him an "easy catch" early in the game to boost his confidence. Don't understand why we haven't tried an end-around with him yet either.

He should have called it off, their were in their base defense. Unfortunately, neither of our QBs can read a defense.

He's a idiot. Its not 2008 anymore. BEdwards beat him out in Seattle and he's barely playing. And by all means lets add another tool to the locker room

The fake call was fine. We've run fakes against base defenses this year, and will continue to do so.

Problem with the play was that Tanner Purdum missed his block on the MLB. If he had slowed Laurianitis down, Hillard would have had a huge gain.

Pics show it rather clearly.

In this pic, you can see the MLB about 1 yard to the left of Purdum. All Purdum has to do is get in between Laurinaitis and where the play is going, doesn't have to stop him completely, just slowing him down would be fine.

In this pic, you see that big gigantic hole the Laurinaitis is standing in ? If he wasn't there (if Purdum had made his block), it's a HUGE gainer.
