That was actually good because it was 4th down. If he didn't reach they would have been short and the pats would have had better field position. The fumble backed them up a bunch of yards. If he didn't fumble we would have had the first down.... Either way it was better than not getting the first down.

Wold have it been ok if the ball bounced and the pats ran it back for a TD.
