One more loss and it's Tebow Time

Now that the Jets have been soundly beaten by the Patriots (proving that they are incapable of beating a playoff caliber team) they cannot afford to lose one more game the rest of the season, if they do they're out of contention for the playoffs.

If the Jets lose one more game they should finally bench Sanchez and start Tim Tebow. This would allow the Jets to see what they have in Tebow and improve his trade value at the same time. If by some chance Tebow does exceptionally well then the Jets can either keep him or trade him in the offseason. The way things stand now it would be hard to trade Tebow because no one has seen him play this year. By starting him after the next loss the team has nothing to lose as far as the playoffs are concerned but everything to gain in trade value and QB depth determination.

So one more loss and start Tebow, plus give McElroy some 4th quarter snaps to get him some experience and check him out too.

Not with broken ribs. Tebows season is done, as is the Jets season. They may even IR his butt.

Not as long as Rex is here he is his qb because he believes suckchez gives them the best chance to win.

Sanchez may not give us the best chance to win but he gives Hill, Kerely and Gates the best chance to develop.

One more loss and winning won't matter any more. One more loss and you actually don't want to win anymore because it will affect your draft number. If the Jets lose one more game then it's all about building players up for trade and seeing what you've got from your bench players. If the Jets wind up with 8 in the loss column then playing Sanchez makes no sense because you can't trade him in the offseason with the money he's due. The best thing to do is to build Tebow's trade value and see what you've got in McElroy.

Tebow has 2 broken ribs, he will be out at least 2more weeks I would think. The best bet would be Sanchez to ram his head up moore's butt again but this time knock himself out and then McElroy can get his chance

The best thing to do is to continue to run a pro set and develop a talented but raw WR corp. Running a college O doesn't help us develop Hill, Gates and Kerley who need to be developed before this team can win with any QB.

Everyone knows Tebow's trade value a few extra fans in the seats in Jax.

At this point...why?

Besides, Sanchez is doing a great job in insuring that we secure a Top 5 draft pick.

Wouldn't playing Tebow hurt his trade value? I think the perceived value of Tebow is all that superstitious "he just wins" horse ****. I think you try to sell him on that to some crazy owner. But you want to minimize actual game tape which can be watched and analyzed.

Stop it with the playoff talk. This team stinks and wont go anywhere near the playoffs. I cant believe any rational person would mention the jets and the playoffs in the same sentence.

It is NEVER Tebow time!!!! I just don't get it, what is this man love with a guy that if his name was not "Tebow" would not even be an NFL player, or starter at least. Tebow is not an NFL caliber starting QB. People love the name "Tebow" and love saying it, this is exactly what has gotten him the notoriaty fame. Tebow is a one trick pony and will faid fast. put Tin Cup in and see where it gets us, that's the test we need.

WOODY MAY MAKE SOME BOLD MOVES, NY POST SAYS

www.nypost.com
=WINNERS

MUHAMMAD WILKERSON – The lone bright spot for the Jets this season is Wilkerson’s emergence as a big-time player. He was disrupitive on the first play of the game Thursday, causing Tom Brady to commit an intentional grounding penalty. Wilkerson looks like he’ll be a part of the Jets defense for years to come.

DEMARIO DAVIS – It isn’t so much what he did as what Bart Scott did. Scott looks like he’s finished and the Jets are sure to part ways with him this offseason. That’s good news for Davis, who will slide into Scott’s role. Davis has gotten decent playing time this season. He should be ready to start in 2013.

SMART FANS – Those of you who sold your tickets to the game, good move. I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving dinner and were able to go to bed at halftime. I really felt bad for the fans sitting through that debacle.

LOSERS

WOODY JOHNSON – This is a big-ticket losers day and we start at the top. Johnson has to answer for how he’s let this team devolve from making the AFC Championship game to this. Johnson did not speak with reporters after the game. That’s OK. I’m sure he has no answers. Johnson needs to make some BOLD moves to turn this around.

REX RYAN – When a team plays like that, the head coach must answer for it. Ryan’s team has played terribly most of this season and he does not appear to have any answers on how to fix it. How far away are we from “Rex Must Go” chants?

MARK SANCHEZ -- Ignore the stats. He put up some good numbers in garbage time. Sanchez continues to fold when it matters most. His interception early ended a scoring chance for the Jets and sparked the Patriots, who feed off turnovers. And then the fumble. Oh the fumble. Now in addition to all the mean things you call Sanchez, you can add butthead.

Who cares? Seriously. Heck whatever talent Tebow and McElroy had has been damaged by this coaching staff...They don't know how to put players in position to succeed. There's no discipline on this team..They are always unprepared.

You have misinformation. It's Brandon Moore's butt that they may have to IR.

Maybe the Jets will actually use a McElroy and Tebow the way we thought they would be using Sanchez and Tebow.

No, moore's backside has been traded to the defense and will be starting at NT vs Arizona
