Rex Ryan = Joe Walton = Bruce Coslet

This is a well- known scenario to any veteran Jets fan. A coach who had early success, no matter how tenuous, is given a long leash and fired only after he's tested a rich, dumb*ss owner's patience way past the breaking point of us fans, whether it's Hess or Woody.

Rex will be back next year even if the team ends up 4-12, short of him giving the finger to a camera during a game. After all, Walton got away with picking his nose on national TV for years. As Marx observed, history repeats itself as history and then farce. And, yes, that makes me a commie, especially when you throw in my opposition to the corporate socialism known as PSLs.

If it's clear to us that Rex lost the team last year and this year, it's clear to Woody Johnson too.

We're 0-12 against teams that end the year with winning records since our stunning victory over the Patriots in the 2010 playoffs. That doesn't go unnoticed.

I missed the good times when Walton and Coslet made the AFCCG

And the PSLs I had to pay during their regimes

After all salaries and costs were so much higher then

I hope you're right, SAR, and I agree with you, but short of at least four more embarrassing blow-outs, Woody will stick with Rex. Mark it down.

Unless you pay PSLs now, go back to the bong. My point was Walton and Coslet had just enough early success (I.e. making the play-offs) to get a long leash.

At least Walton knew when to pull the plug on a QB if he thought it would help get a win. Pulling Ken O'Brien and starting Pat Ryan at the end of the 1986 season was one of the ballsiest, all-time great moves by a coach. Almost got us to the superbowl.

Walton and Coslet blew chunks too, but at least their teams showed up from time to time.

Ryan has his team thinking they are the best players ever so they take their paychecks and play soft.

Its sarcasm, degen, Coslet and Walton had 1 playoff win between them in 11 years, they haven't a patch on Ryan in terms of Jets playoff success.

If they got 11 years Ryan deserves 20

Another crybaby with the PSLs, I could care less if you have 2 dinars to rub together or go to any games, or not.

I don't have 'em and dont care who does, or not, especially not you.

The NFL is a business and million dollar contracts dont get paid by osmosis. Don't like it, take up mah jongg or a cheaper sport.

Walton and Coslet inherited the bitter dregs of the Michaels team, didn't have a fraction of the talent that Ryan inherited in 2009.

What we now know to be true is that Ryan is a good postseason coach and a lousy regular season coach. That doesn't work.

Pot heads are generally mellow, not pro-corporate welfare, anti-fan crypto fascist morons. Spending more on weed (and bragging about it) doesn't make you a fan, just a hard-on with a few bucks to blow on reefer since he can't get a job. Real fans pay money to support their team, they don't blow their allowance on weed and Red Bull.

Don't touch anything stronger than a Jack and Coke but I see you are no stranger to crack. Or is that meth? Whatever gateway drug the kids snort these days, no doubt.

Your profile says how much you love reefer, so either you're either a liar or a poser, Jungle Sh*t. Though I'm pretty sure you're just a troll who's never attended a game in your life and lives in your parent's basement collecting disability for low self-esteem due to oxygen deprivation at birth and fondle yourself to Danny Woodhead pics. Go to bed before Mommy comes down with the strap. Again.

Nothing wrong with that, as long as your 21 or older. I prefer it in brownies though.

Walton inherited a AFCCG runnerup (he was the OC) and never made it that far with a better QB than Richard Todd.

Coslet inherited Walton's lousy 4-12 team and skyrocketed to 6-10 the next year.

No wonder so many dopes still think our economy is the previous guy's fault.

Hopefully you can come to the attention of the KKK or the Mets Banner Day folks out scouting for new talent, they're good at bedsheets and baldfaced propaganda too.

Uh, it's an inside joke for someone else here, but you wouldn't know a friend from your fellow Clears. I'm sure I've been to more road games than youve been to games and spilt more beer and hot chocolate than Mr. Herbert ever bought for you.

Back in the closet (or Jet N*t**n) with you, degen, I don't associate with SOJF losers who beat off to #10 Fatheads - even on the Internet

Nice try, but I've been going to every home game since '68 except for weddings, funerals and births. If you aren't man-loving a blow-up doll with Wes Welker's head pasted on you're lubing it up for the Vince Wilfork strap-on your step dad is pounding you with during time-outs. Go back to the basement, you pillow-biting, Wilfork-loving, Woodhead-blowing manwhore. Oh, and I'd be happy to miss a game if they hold your probation hearing for possession of kiddie porn if the courts were open on a Sunday, you sicko Belisuck fetishist. Take a Midol and go to bed before step dad breaks out the strap-on. Again.
