Woodhead fumbles less than McNight pukes.

letting Woodhead go was a huge mistake for the Jets, he's a play maker. He had a 19 yard rush against Denver on a 3rd and 17

The real mistake was Tannenbaum's stance on and letting go of Leon Washington, in the 2010 playoffs he may have been the playmaker that got us over the hump in Pitt...that's Tanny's tragic flaw, playing hardball with certain key contributors, it's never made any sense...

To be honest about it McKnight has superior talent then Woody.
Put Joe in NE and he'd shut you up quickly when he was utilized by the HC correctly. This actually happened to WOODHEAD and he looks like a vastly improved player minus the talent of Joe McKnight.

Go Jets!
McKnight's worth as a KR is much, much less than Woodhead's worth as a 3rd down back. And as far as superior talent, Im just not sure which players you are watching. What are you basing that on?

Woodhead isn't an every down back. He is very good at his role in the Patriot's Offense. He is smart, has sure hands, is shifty, small and quick.

McKnight isn't very smart and his hands sure are suspect with his fumblitis.

Thank God Rex isn't a very good talent evaluator.

Agreed, every time you start to feel a little confident in Mcknight's ability, he fumbles again in a crucial situation, you can't depend on a fumbler...

A crazy premise, as others have pointed out. Woodhead is good, but better than any we have? Come on, he's no power back.

And he would still be the best running back on the jets
