Thumbs down Jay Mohr: I'm a Ravens Fan

Doing a guest spot with Boomer and Carton. Says he has left the Jets and is now a Ravens fan.

Aside from being a fair weather fan, he is pretty funny this morning.

SAR, any thoughts????

Jay Mohr can suck it. Fandom isn't a rottisserie league, loser.

The bad times make the good times count for something. Lord knows the Pats fans had a rough couple of decades before Brady came along.

I can understand that sometimes people need to learn to love a new team when they move to a new place - but I've moved plenty and can't imagine ever really losing the connection to the first team(s) you grow up with.

It doesn't matter. This post is reaching more people than exist in Jay's fan base. Gotta believe the tune out on the Boomer & Carton Show was massive once they announced Jay's segment.

Anyone hear the early part of the show when Carton was interviewing Brandon Moore's ass? After every question all you heard was a different fart sound. Pretty funny!

If you remember all those heated arguments I had with Jay, I made the point pretty clearly that the only time he ever showed up on the site was a) when the team was good and in the news and b) to promote something when he was in town.

Like I said, I'm usually always right.

While we are on the topic of jumping ship, may I ask why so many posters have other teams now as their avatar?

Inexplicably, Boomer & Carton is now a popular show. Suddenly, Jay is a friend of the show. Please.

Jay was joking probably.

Im not watching the games anymore until sanchez gets benched. But I would never follow another team. That makes no sense.

He was dead serious.

He justified it based on what Dodgers fans did during the McCourt divorce. He did leave the door open for a return, but IMO leaving the team is weak. Same for Fireman Ed.

I became a fan under Kotite. If I didn't leave then, I am never leaving. The Jets have become part of my DNA, for better or worse (most of the time for the worse )
