There's NO reason to delay the process. Start Geno Smith.

I became a fan under Kotite. If I didn't leave then, I am never leaving. The Jets have become part of my DNA, for better or worse (most of the time for the worse )
I doubt he's left the team entirely, he's probably just taken on Baltimore as his "second team".

If he has, good riddance and don't come back.

wow - lol.

Ya, really, as some have already mentioned - it's no great loss. One can't use the Hawaiian language to describe Mohr's career, because they have no letter 'z'.

LOL. I still think Jay can at least attempt to resurrect his career with the long-awaited "throw down" with SAR on SOOTH's podcast.

Still can't believe Jay punked out of SAR's challenge. Probably knows SAR's wit will destroy him.

He was saying it tongue and cheek to point out he's sick of the Jets crap.

Guys, leave the Mrs. out of this. Thats low, even for JI.

CMart, I do not think he was tongue-in-cheek. But te said something to the effect of that we should all leave to the team until things change, similar to what Dodgers fans did. So I guess it is open for interpretation.

You're either a fan or you're not, you either root for a team or you don't. PERIOD.

I've always thought Mohr was full of shyt. Now we can add that he is a bonafide pu$$y. He just proved it. He's not even funny to begin with and probably brown nosed his way into show business.

No great loss, Jay. Hope the door hits you squarely in your little pecker on your way out.

He's still a fan. He's just sick of The incompetent owner, FO and HC. He mentioned how most players have regressed under Rex (where did he hear that).

But to evoke change something must be done so for now he's done with the Jets.

Can't blame the guy.

It appears from having read this board over the last few weeks that quitting on the team as a fan is OK....just so long as you're not a celebrity like Jay Mohr

Is it OK to call him a ***** for the following: Mohr petitioned a Los Angeles court to allow him to legally add her last name to his, changing his name to Jay Ferguson Cox Mohr?

The man loves his wife. Good for him.

I think Mohr Cox would have been worse.

Just go onto youtube, type in "Jay Mohr Tracy Morgan" and laugh your ass off. His Opie and Anthony story is the stuff of legends.

Considering her name sounds like a porn star, I think it would have worked.

Yeah, you have to stick by them. It really hasn't even been bad since '97. They've had very few losing seasons since then and have made the playoffs a bunch. We've even had good fortune (like '09 when Colts rested guys and handed us a playoff spot).

Basketball and baseball I could see leaving if the team had a prolonged stretch of being bad simply because those seasons are so long that when your team barely wins games, so much of the season is meaningless and you have to be absolute diehards of those sports to continually watch a bad team night in and night out. I know many left the Knicks during the Leyden/Isaiah years and have returned now.
