There’s that hackneyed expression about walking a mile in another man’s shoes that people love throwing around. But if that man is in the process of rehabilitating a torn ACL and returning to form as the NFL’s best cornerback, wouldn’t you consider it?

Boom, the Nike Zoom Revis 1, a sneaker I’ve discussed here at TJB, is days away from its Dec. 1 release date. As the swaggy blogger and resident sneaker enthusiast on TheJetsBlog.com, it is my duty to share these images and reiterate the sneakers’ significance — probably not for all Jets fans, but for the few who care about uniforms, equipment, and the sneaker culture.

Darrelle Revis is stepping into elite space with this release. He joins players like Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders, iconic athletes whose signature sneakers — Nike’s SC Trainer and Diamond Turf series, respectively — remain staples in contemporary style up to two decades after they debuted. Now, the ZR1 gets its chance to reintroduce training shoes from Nike Football into popular culture. That’s gotta count for something in this dismal season.

Revis will be at the new Nike Yardline at Champs Sports in the Willowbrook Mall on Saturday to launch his ZR1. The sneakers will run you $130 and will be available in two colors: the Jets-themed pair pictured here and another black/volt colorway.

Huh? This is after her little amateur hour during the pats game when she was smack tweeting the team with glee from the press box?

This hypocrisy makes me sick. Jets have maybe the worst beat writers in all of sports...not just from a talent perspective, but from a "can I even stand the thought of this person" perspective. Manish, Cimini, McMan. Complete hacks as writers and complete losers as people.

We are the only team that overpays their own players. When you extend a contract before FA there is supposed to be some sort of a discount.

Harris contract might be the worst in the NFL. I can't think of any others. Maybe the Asomugha contract.
