Fireman Ed' hall of fame?????

I don't know if many posters realize it, but Fireman Ed is actually in the NFL hall of Fame. A few years ago a group of "fan mascots" like the barrel guy from Denver, the Dog pound guy. And Ed all were nominated to the Hall.
Personally I am not taking anything away from Ed with his " retirement" I, just wondering what happens to the hall of fame shrinement. I'm guessing if he really wanted to retire he would have notified JI, and maybe the team and then at the last home game had some sort of send off to him....
I kind of think the while thing is a little weird......

A bunch of mean men said mean things to him at the games so he retired to not come into contact with the mean men anymore. Guy had it made, free tickets, a stadium that was under his command, etc. Enough with the pity party, and threads about him, he quit. DONE.

So with Fireman Ed gone, does our stadium become even more silent during home games?

Yep, just the way SAR likes it. No chanting, no cheering, no good humored fun of any kind.

I'm sorry, but where are your season tickets again?

Thought so.

It was never loud, oh wait, that Patroit game that we got game balls to, that was loud. It was the equivalent to an average game in Philly.

don't cry for ed. he had his 15 minutes of fame. good for him but he's certainly no authority on jets football. he's just a fan like just about everyone else who posts who just happened to have the wherewithal to afford season tickets and wear a silly outfit to each game.

F--- Firefraud already.

Let this thread die. That's what Ed is to us now.

where is the Barrel Guy from Denver and the Dog Pound Guy these days? I`m sure Ed will be with them, wherever they may be.

Ed didn`t have free tickets from the Jets. He was a STH like anyone else. What I want to know is, did he pay off his PSL, or did he sell it?
