ever notice that everyone around you gets a license photo that looks like them
but yours looks nothing like you... just a hell of a lot worse?

My drivers license photo looks like me. My passport photo looks like a mugshot taken after I'd raped, tortured, killed and eaten a family of four.

after the lady took my first one and silently gasped "whoa", she took another one and said, "there... that ones really nice!". Now that I look at the "really nice" one, the first one must have been a real winner.

My photo is prolly over 10 years old. They just renewed it with the old photo.

The most common comment I get is "This looks like you 20 years ago if you were a Westy."

Ok, one guy said it, but I thought it was funny.

i just got my license renewal form in the mail. i'm 33 and my pic on my license is still the one they took when i was 16 getting my learners permit. i'm now bald and plus 50 pounds. i love that i can still use my glory days pic, but it's getting to the point where airport security has had to ponder if it's really me. there's nothing about getting a new picture taken, so i can renew and have this pic for another 8 years. i think i have to keep the streak alive. i'll be 41yrs old, still using that 16yr old's smirk.

I guess since all of the terrorists from 9/11 were from NJ or the immediate area, now we have to get a new photo license every few years. No exceptions.

Well, not really.

I had to take my glasses off because I don't (but should) have a restriction.
She said she could tell i don't walk around with my glasses much because I was "squinting like a mole."
