Next Monday will tell Pat fans how much the Patriots have to improve to make it to the AFCCG and represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

They will be dangerous if they can get key players back and healthy.

The Patriots are truly the class of the AFCE, meanwhile the Jets are tied with the Oilers for fewest AFCE Titles, and trailing the Colts by 2.

How many AFCE Titles did the Oilers win?

Nice. Chart...but some of us actually were alive for the entire period from 1960-today

And rthus we know that the AFC didn't begin until 1970 and that the Houston Oilers nor Tennessee Oilers not Tennessee Titans were EVER in the AFC East

AFCE is considered a direct successor to the AFLE just as the AFC is considered a direct successor to the AFL. Two of the Jets' Division Titles are pre-1970 along with the only Super Bowl.

Total nonsense...what are the AFC North and South successors to?

The AFL records ended in 1970 when the Chiefs beat the Vikings

The AFCE began the next season with NO sign of the Houston Oilers or ANY o f thir successors

AFCN and AFCS were created in 2002, the North is descended from the AFC Central. At the merger two NFL East teams were moved to the AFC muddying the waters, but the East and West Divisions of the AFC have direct AFL division ties.

Bill Belichick manage to win 11 games wit Matt stinking Cassel while the jets manage to disappoint their fans with the circus.

And the Jets haven't won an outright AFCE title since 1998, what's your point?

Difference is we're a team that no one expects anything of. You guys, on the other hand, are these amazing winners with a HoF QB that haven't managed to do much in recent years.

Really is amazing that Eli, whom last year had to tell everyone he was elite because nobody believed he was, has managed to take away two rings (so far) from one of the greatest QBs in the game. Perhaps part of the issue is that the Pats have gotten so accustomed to playing weak opponents that it's actually hindered them when it comes time to play good teams.

Not the Pats fault they play in a division with weak opponents.

Once again, they will go 6-0 in the division.

Didn't say it was their fault. Not sure why you're pounding your chest, either.

My point is that they might have gotten used to playing bad teams throughout the season and so now they're not ready for the better teams. Would explain their recent drought in the playoffs.
