Rex's presser is prolly on right now, I haven't heard it, and I don't know who he said was starting, if anyone, but I'd almost guarantee he'll give Sanchez the nod. We might see Mackeral after the half, but Sanchez starts.

i'm a Snachez fan but at this point you have to go with McElroy, just because. the fact that Rex didn't immediately name Sanchez the starter today probably indicates that he's thinking of start Mac this week.

Mark probably NEEDED to get benched, for his own sake. the dude was put in a very bad situation and he was incapable of making it better, and it just kept spiraling out of control. i think he'll actually benefit from a break from all the pressure and negativity.

hopefully McElroy can show enough during the next 4 games to a least give us some certainty of what he can do, even if it's just to let us know that we have a capable backup on the roster.
