This may be 100% irrelevant, but MacElroy has some puny arms. Hopefully the throwing motion starts in the legs?

The article is not to put Tincup against Brady as they sit now, it is to take the paths they both walked up until the time Brady first took his first snap following the injury to Bledso. You can say Brady and Tincup took the same train, hell, they were in the same car sitting in the same row. Will it pan out like it did for Brady, slim, but close your eyes and sit back and dream for a bit, same way you did last week trying to figure out what you would do with that Power Ball jackpot.

first off, i would consider Brady's arm strength to be above average. A lot better than Mcelroy. Also, does this mean that the little ginger kid who reminds me of brooks bollinger will be marrying a supermodel here soon?

I'm the biggest critic of McElroy's arm, but his arm has gotten stronger as well. He spoke about this at his press conference yesterday. He said, because he was on IR last year, was able to work on and improve his arm strength. I don't really see the comparisons to Brady, though. McElroy is also a good athlete. He's quicker and faster than Sanchez. |

Does the article writer understand that 4.84 is actually quite fast? Certainly for a QB

It's pretty evident that if you work on his arm strength, he should be better. He just needs 4 years or so to develop because if you compare his projected stats to those of Eli over his first 4 years...

I know the kid who wrote this, went to/worked at summer camp with him a few years back. They used to call him "Hot Potato."

Ya - I never thought Brady had bad arm strength. I have seen/heard that in a few places but don't know where there's ever been evidence of it. I'd say he throws one of the best deep balls in the NFL currently . . .

hey, stranger things have happened. if mcelroy is the guy it's about time the jets catch lighting in a bottle. not saying he belongs in canton but we've all seen 4 seasons of sanchez and it's nice to see an anti interception machine. i mean throwing two ints to kerry rhodes was just bad form.

So basically the narrative has immediately changed from "Sanchez could turn into Eli" to "McElroy could turn into Brady?" Oh boy.
