Rex reluctant to answer question about benching Mark for Tim

http://www.newyorkjets.com/photos-an...9-27f03ef1282c

At about 10:19 he's asked if, when he benched mark, Tebow would have gone in had he been the #2 (demoted to #3 due to injury). He then proceeds to nervously laugh and not answer.

Anyone notice that? Seemed odd to me.

Because he knows he sucks and that he wouldn't have done it if Tebow was dressed.

CLEARLY.

No one wants Tim ****ing TEBOW as a starting QB here, not even the morons (except Woody) running this franchise. NO ONE.

**** TEBOW. Send his ass packing.

Guaranteed a deal is already in place for the day after the season ends.

To me, it sort of reaffirms the suspicions (can't call them facts yet) we had about Tim being brought here by Woody for non-football reasons.

McG, no doubt in my mind whatsoever. Pin the tail on the donkey: Woody.

Especially after seeing Rex react that way. I just can't see how it could be any other way.

I could be wrong, but that's just how I see it.

No, no, this isn't about who's going to be the starter in Jacksonville. This is about yesterday. The question was that if Tim had been the #2 (aka healthy) would he have gone in instead of Greg.

you're not wrong.

everything Rex has done this season indicates that he wanted no part of Tebow and that the trade was never about "football reasons."

**** Woody for derailing our season before it even started.

I understand your feel, but Tebow replacing Sanchez was this sort of "how many weeks until that happens" thing during this season and it seems that the so-called "Mark Vs. Tim: Battle for NY" was actually "Mark Vs. Greg: Battle for NY".

How does a coach that sucks know if a player sucks? I guess the only answer then would be; "It Takes One To Know One"

Short of Woody putting a billboard up saying "I traded for Tebow for PR reasons", I am not sure how much more evidence people need to come to this conclusion.

Not really, if you have an insane person saying another person is insane, quite frankly the person stating the claim if we know is the insane one, I certainly would not trust his opinion. Therefore it is up to someone else to make that determination, so basically my answer is ; Rex is not qualified to make that determination because I certainly know he sucks.
