That was a great football game last night.

Can't remember the last time the Giants DE's were neutralized like they were last night.

RG III is going to be good. He's athletic but he's got the football mind as well. I'm very impressed with him so far. He also comes off very well when he speaks. I laughed at the skins when they gave up so much to move up but maybe they were right. We'll have to see over the next few drafts.

The following things may actually happen in the NFC:

- Seahawks winning the NFC West
- Redskins winning the NFC East
- Packers getting a bye and Giants missing the playoffs (who would have imagined that after last Sunday night)
- Niners being a wildcard and playing in Seattle

Giants will go 9-7, make the playoffs and get hot again in the playoffs. If the Giants had been playing in the AFC East these last few years they would have at least 1 fewer super bowl wins.

Sounds like the middle chapter of Cloud Atlas --the one in Hawaii in the future after the big blowup

9-7 probably won't get the Giants in, unless you think both the Redskins and Cowboys do no better than 8-8 (which seems unlikely considering their easy schedules the rest of the way). NFC you'll need 10 wins for the wildcard. Seahawks might not lose again and Bears can manage 2-2 down the stretch.

I couldn't make it through that book. I actually quit in the chapter before that, with Somni 451 or whatever it was.

If the Redskins overtake the Giants, then they might not make the playoffs at all. Bears have enough wins and I like the Seahawks' chances. HA- the defending SB champs CHOKE- spare the Jets the front page slammer.

This afternoon, on ESPN Radio, some guy called in screaming at Michael Kay about how he wasn't giving the Redskins enough credit for the victory. We need some of our fans to call in to 'FAN and call them out for constantly trashing us, because we are a NY team.
