I think another poster said this on another thread. The very good-great QB's throw their WR's open. He waits and waits and waits for someone to become wide open then throws it which gives the defense enough time to recover and either knock the ball away or pick it off. And he misses a lot of wide open WR's.

By the 2nd quarter, Sanchez' weapons at WR were Schilens, Kerley, and Gilyard, and Rueland at TE with Cumberland and Hill going down.

What the hell do you want?

Why have so many of you fans lost all sense of reality?

Marty Gilyard just got signed. Superbowl here we come!!
Early in the season Sanchez would hit guys in the back with the football, or throw early not giving guys time to react. Now he just holds it and take the sack. I wish he would run more at the first sign of trouble. 3 yards by Sanchez is the same as 3 yards from Greene.

This is correct. It's not that they don't want to throw the ball. Their QB is incapable of doing it.

The only thing I would say is if this is the style of offense thy intend to run - Tebow is much better suited to run.

Tebow actually gives them a better chance to win with this offense.

Im so done with this regime, Rex is the biggist dumbass on the planet, he has one QB and doesnt dress him. Sanchez is a suckass surfer boy who has no business playing in the north east, send him back to cali. tebow can go on looking for jesus (and if he finds him maybe he can play a skill position for us)
watch us win say 2 more games, finish with a crappy .500ish record and the slide continues

and how does woody johnson keep buying the crap from rex and mike T, look around the league and see almost every other team is better prepared.

why do other teams have guys who are drafted in the 5th and 6th rounds become explosive playmakers and our top draft picks are simply average....

I cant wait till Rex is fired, mike t is fired and woody sells the team to someone who either cares or knows football

Making a point about why the Jets have been vanilla due to the injuries this team has had on offense isn't drinking kool aid, it's called fact.

Based on the fact the other two guys cant play at this level, or at least sanchez has lost everything but a killer hit on the cap and is the only reason he's playing ( futher proof that Rex is an assclown, pride getting in the way) If McElroy kept his mouth shut in the off season he'd he an NFL starter today, would he be any good? Dont know. Would he be worst....NO!

so thats why im saying it, im not delusional, im fcuking pissed and you should be to.

We went vanilla because we can't count on Cantchez to do something so simple as TAKE CARE OF THE ****ING FOOTBALL. Notice that we got much more efficient on offense once we took the ball out of Murk's hands. And that's against the 28th passing D!

Good Lord, Rah Rah. Even YOU can't possibly enjoy Kool-Aid EVERY day.

I think this is fact. All this talk about McElroy not having the physical skills is silly. In a not locked into Sanchez due to his contract world, McElroy would be starting.

I hate watching this style of football but what else can they do? Suckchez is garbage and the few playmakers they have, are hurt.

What WR on our team has he made better? Do you realize that a Andrew Luck, a rookie, has made more with not much more talent at the WR position then the Jets have. He has a stud in Wayne but his 2nd WR is Donnie Avery. Avery had 3 rec in 2011 and his career high was 54. He has 52 already this year and 706 yards. His 3rd WR is a rookie 3rd rd pick in Hilton, he has 41 rec and 638 yards so far. The player with the 2nd most catches on the Jets is Keller (28 rec) and he has missed 3 games. How can you sit there and actually defend Sanchez? Un-f*cking-believable. That is ignorance at it's finest.

It's clear that the Jets offense has only gotten extremely conservative over the last couple of games. To put it simply, they've realized it's the only way they can win. Sanchez is just a bad QB...

No problem with that. You can't win the super bowl that way but you can certainly win games that way. Just need to adjust the QB position during the offseason. Whether it's draft, trade or Free agency.

If Jay Cutler is the QB of the Jets do you think they play vanilla on offense? No they don't b/c QB's raise the level or bring down the level of play around them. It's no coincidence that Reggie Wayne had his worst year statistically last year with Curtis Painter, Dan Orlovsky and Kerry Collins as his QB and this year with Andrew Luck he is on pace for 40 more rec then last year and the most receptions of his career. The QB's have everything to do with the players around them being successful. If Andrew Luck was on the Jets we would have 8-9 wins right now. That's called a fact.

How did letting Henne try to win the game with his arm work out yesterday?

Of for the Cards the week before?

Think that they don't have a running game may actually effect the Jags or Cards passing game?

You can't make this stuff up.

+1

Not to mention the Colts knew of Namath's arm so the threat to throw was still there.
