Many of us were all but certain they were going to start McElroy this week. Signing Braylon seems like a no-brainer, but this front office has a knack for doing the exact opposite of what is logical.

Indeed. Didn't Bryan Thomas go down with a pec injury? Could be signing a LB instead. Rex even said of the Braylon2NY talk that they're going to focus on what we have already.

It's very likely that Braylon isn't coming.

The management of the team that Braylon Edwards called "idiots" in a tweet not so long ago is now considering taking him back?

Yep, that fits in with how this season has gone so far.

Isn't Edwards hurt? Wasn't that part of the reason they cut him?

Jets poised to sign WR Braylon Edwards, giving the Jets another player to tackle defenders who intercept passes from Mark Sanchez

Jets cut RB Bell; make room for Braylon?: It sure looks like the Jets are paving the way for a Braylon Edwa... http://es.pn/S4XVlq #nyj

this board is going to erupt when it's either Jason Hill or some PS CB/LB to replace Berry or fill in for Thomas.

Hill won't come back - fell out with the Jets over injury. He claimed he was injured in a Jets uni, Jets claimed he already had injury when he last signed. Bad blood.

Assuming Braylon is healthy in any capacity, the Jets would be foolish to not bring Braylon back. The Jets have decided to make their bed with Sanchez, at the very least, you bring back the guy who actually had chemistry with Sanchez.
