Not that this has anything to do with last night, but isn't the time kept by the home team?

The official time is kept by the back judge on the field.

All in-game communications are run by NFL people.

Oh, b/c there was something on the radio a few weeks ago, about the stadium clock being run by someone supplied by the home team.

That's true for the stadium clock, but that is not official.

How many times do you hear the offcials say "please reset the clock to such and such time".

Offcial time is kept on the field.

It doesn't matter TX, Kraft pays them all off.

Me third. As much as I hate PatsFanTX, the Giants fans I know in real life are just as bad and considering they've already beaten them twice including just last year, the Giants winning the SB this year would be akin to living in a dictatorship.

I can't blame you given the last 3 head to heads. Giants can be had on the ground though and this year's Pats actually have a formidable ground game compared to previous versions.

Giants still have a ways to go to even qualify for the playoffs (let alone advance to SB), so I don't think you need to concern yourself quite yet.

Just saying, as Jets fan, I'll take ANYTHING over Giants-Pats III

I'm gonna go a different way and say I might not even watch a 3rd version of that game. Either that or find a Super Bowl party with really casual football fans where everyone just gets blind drunk and barely even pays attention the game

And that will be a huge difference.

Last couple of games, Giants front 4 didn't care about the run at all and just pressured Brady directly up the middle.

It will be a little different if the two teams meet up again.

The Pats played this game perfectly. Score, score, score, and all of a sudden you're down 21-0. Did you hear JJ Watt's number called the entire game? It's a pretty brilliant strategy - score as many points as fast as possible and put the other team to the wall. This is Belichick's design, Chip Kelly philosophy.

The Jets can. If hill caught that ball they would have already

I'm not saying they would....just that any given Sunday...

That said, the pats 3 losses have been by a combined 4 points or something insane. So yeah they've played pretty freaking well

Bravo.

Please remind the other Mods of this. I got banned for posting in the MNF thread because I didn't "belong there". The Pats WERE playing IIRC.

Exactly. Hill catches the ball, Jets go in to cruise control.

P Manning was close to closing a comeback against Pats earlier in Yr.. They have looked a lot stronger as season went on, havent lost in like 2 months.. Manning is developing chemestry with Recievers and he is completely back now.. Must be nice to have a real qb..
