True but in playoff football there really is no room for error at all. Those errant passes over Gresham, over throwing receivers, reading the wrong routes are fine against the lowly Eagles. Do that in the playoffs however and you're in a whole load of trouble

Thanks to Philadelphia's ineptitude, win Monday Night in Tennessee or else the season is over, no matter what Pittsburgh or Indianapolis do on Sunday.
A loss = season is over because: A. Indianapolis will have 9 wins already B. Cincinnati/Pittsburgh square off Week 16. If Pittsburgh wins, they'll have 8 wins which will beat the Jets in any tie-breaker and if Cincinnati wins, that's 9 wins for them. Even a tie in this game means Cincinnati would finish no worse than 8-7-1, topping an 8-8 team. |

I am not keeping my finger cross on anything thanks to SUCKCHEZ hate to say it but "We're not gonna make it". It's as simple as that, the reality of it all is watching other teams compete in the post season our JETS will be home by then. TRUE!

Good point about the coach, he's an example of keeping a guy around forever and producing almost no tangible results. Perhaps an argument in favor of ditching a guy after a few years if he seems like he can't do the job. It seems almost as if the Bengals are trying to follow the Steelers model, but they don't have the right guy for it

This is pretty much the only realistic scenario for the Jets making the post season: The Jets and the Bengals finished tied at 9-7 and the Jets win the tie-breaker because of a better mark inside the AFC (7-5, 6-6). The most pivotal games (other than the Jets) would have Dallas beating Pitt this week and Cincy beating Pitt next week. NYJ Win Out PITT: L vs. CIN and 1 other Loss to either Dallas or Cleveland CIN: W @ PIT, L vs. BAL |

One more possibility is that Indy loses out against Houston twice and KC. Not likely, but still possible. |

We can hope. Indy is not nearly as successful on the road. 3-3 with blowout losses to the Bears, Jets, and Pats, and OT win at Tenn, a 2 point win at Detroit, and a 17 point win at Jax in the Gabbert injury game. So, if KC can run the ball and play good D (both question marks) they've got a shot. If the Jets need an Indy loss in week 17, perhaps Rex will send the Jets game plan to Romeo.

1) If Dallas beats Pitts, we need the winner of the Cincy/Pitts game to lose their week 17 matchup 2) Indy loses out 3) If Pitts beats Dallas then Cincy MUST beat Pitts and BOTH Pitts and Cincy lose week 17 |

#2 isn't that far fetched too. They play Houston 2 times in the final 3
