What? Not to derail this thread, but I really am tired of your act. You seem inordinately obsessed with disparaging me in threads and/or tags. What's your intent?

You're a hack and not very interesting. Much like the two talentless clowns you idolize. Go f**k yourself for the holidays.

As long as one person gets the allusion, I can rest easy. Thanks, Banks.

On second thought, there hasn't been a good history between me and electrical stuff. I tried to fix a box fan once when the on/off switch fell apart. It appeared to be a simple plastic and copper turn type of switch. So I bypassed the switch and basically hard wired the fan. When I plugged it in, it ran fine, until I turned my back and left the room. When smoke started coming into the next room, I went back in, only to find the fan in full burnup the motor type mode, so I unplugged and had to set it outside.

I knew I never should've gave up that electrical shop class for Algebra.

Why did you get out of it? limited space, money, just lost interest?
I was whats called a freelancer, a guy who creates from whole cloth a make-believe railroad with a made up logo, etc, etc, etc. They custom paint everything, with custom logo decals, and the like. I think I shared a few pics here over the years, but non would be online still now (sorry). I was an N-Scale guy, 1:187

I found I was not please, and never would be, with the quality of my artwork and modeling efforts. The amount of time and effort required to come close to my friends in the hobby was more than i was willing to put in.

That, and I stopped liking trains as much for reasons I can't get into too deeply.

Meh, I read comics, play video games, play on this forum, and used to paint model trains. If that makes me a loser, so be it.

My wife still loves me, loser and all.

I had an N gauge. Great when you have limited space, a P.I.T.A. when they jump track and you have to put them back on.

Heck, I enjoy playing sports (mostly football) board games. Usually solitaire b/c I don't think there's another geek within 100 miles of me. It's fun, and keeps ya strategizin' and thinkin'. So +1 on the loser and wife still loving me, etc.

Insert required meme comment about "knowing it because of the pixels and having seen a few rails in your time".

That is a very serious case of wheelslip. No tractive force + way too much power applied for too long = wheelset-as-metal-grinder.

Educate yourself, then speak. For reasons known only to him, Peebag has taken numerous opportunities to take shots at me both in posts and tags.
Usually, I let it slide. Today, it bothered me.
