I've been rolling this post around in my head for a week or two.

It makes sense either the Mets are full of $h!t or they are terrible businessmen.

Mets are broke because Fred Wilpon is maybe the worst businessman this side of Woody Johnson. He could screw up selling water in the desert and he won't sell the team even though it would benefit the Mets and the entire MLB.
