McElroy = O'Brien

This is giving me flashbacks to Ken O'Brien...holds the ball WAY too long and takes sacks...I can't watch that act again !!....NEXT !!!

If we drafted a Ken O Brien in the 7th round and have him dirt cheap as a replacement to Sanchez......not a bad thing.

O'Brien could throw, McElroy can't.

Here's hoping that GS3 under center, and Coples on the edge works out.

McElroy can't dream of making the throws that O'Brien did. Get out of here with that.

Honestly you never saw Ken O'brien play if you can compare him to Mcelroy. Thats not even funny. O'brien could throw the ball.

GSack could have Jerry Rice, Megatron and Barry Sanders and he still wouldn't be able to THROW.

Squared. He is TB x TB in comparison to McElroy.
I always like Ken and wished we'd have protected him better.

You can't look at stats alone with Ken O'Brien.

OB was light years ahead of Greg. You must never have seen him play.

Like I have been saying for weeks he is Mark Sanchez only crappier. Just play Tebow the last week seriously what do you have to loose at this point. Cut Greg and use Kerley as your BU QB.

O Brien was a good QB all he needed was a good O line which the Jets never gave him!

By that logic, why not play Laron Landry at QB, w hat do you have to lose?

What is there to gain by starting Tebow except making a bunch of Bible thumping Christians happy after Christmas? If he isn't coming back what is there to gain? At least lets see how Mcelroy can play. SUre, he isn't the answer but lets find out if he is at least a serviceable backup.

n

Kenny O was the best QB this organization has ever seen. To compare him with Greg McElroy is absurd.

DUMP

Yes, McElroy is the equal of the 2nd (maybe third) best QB to ever wear a Jets Uniform.

All of the statue, none of the epic bomb throws.

I'd start Landry over those 2 fools yes. Tebow is a QB though and I could care less what the hell religion he is. Listen. Sitting Tebow does 0 good for this team. 0 Elroy is not a good QB, Mark is not a good QB, Tebow is not a good QB. Tebow is the only one with trade value and will likely be the only one still in the league 2 years from now. All we are doing is killing his trade value by saying he isn't even good enough to start one meaningless game over these two bums. What does it friggen matter to us fans if he plays one game to help his trade value? I am an Animism I could care less what religious beliefs Tebow has. Sanchez is Christian too I don't see where that has any standing on football. By next week xmass would be friggen over anyway you friggen bigot.
