Time to bring in Pennington as QB coach

He will bring poise to the position.

You assume he has the stamina to stand on the sidelines for 17 weeks.

It's all about poise? Really? We're talking about poise after a 11 sack, 2 turnover, 0 touchdown performance? Seriously? Phucking poise?

You're a loony troll.

He'd be an improvement over Cavacrap. But there must be better options ... No ?

Agreed. Still, I don't think he'd be a good fit with the current regime.

1. Who exactly would be a good fit?

2. Pennington could suit up and help this team we are so bad.

3. Happy Holdays

If there's a chance to bring in Penny and we don't, then we are just trying to lose.

Pennington is a mentor to Marshall's QB Rakeem Cato who just led the nation in passing yardage; Chad would be a benefit to the NY Jets with his leadership skills & football I.Q. ...

Forget coach if he can step on the field make him our QB. Has to be better then what we have. At vet min could be the best QB we've signed sense Vinny the 1st time around.

I can see this happening; a 37 year-old Chad Pennington comes out of retirement to show he is still a better QB than Sanchez, McElroy & Tebow combined. NY can then draft a QB in April; he & McElroy can learn from the most accurate passer the NFL has ever seen.

Ratliff, Ainge, Bollinger, any of them could do a better job than the current crop.

No, they couldn't. Stating that means you don't have a grasp of what is happening on the field, only what is happening on your TV, i.e. the guy with the ball in his hands.

Chad Pennington would last 1 Qtr behind that offensive line after getting sack 5 times he would be taken off on a cart. Pennington was the least sacked QB and he got a major injury daily.
I would love to see him replace sparano also and become a OC/QB coach think he would do an excellent job.
