You've seen him speak before. He's clearly a smart person. So you believe he came into the league totally oblivious to the business of football?

Come on.

Right. And what Rex says in public is the same thing as behind closed doors, in the locker room. I have a bridge to sell you.

C'mon man! The logic doesn't fit.
I don't doubt that McElroy had a headache, but he was not diagnosed with a concussion before Ryan named Sanchez the starter. It really doesn't matter long-run. But if this whole thing with McElroy was a shameless ploy to avoid putting Sanchez before the home crowd and then giving him a last chance to have a decent game so Rex can claim everything is fixed with Mark for 2013, then I want Ryan fired yesterday.

Yes, it's been refuted he did not say that. Meaning, he said that.

And another thing.

What's the point of the gamble in this "conspiracy"? Sanchez goes out there an either stinks it up again, or does well. The GM still going to be fired.

Even if we loose we are likely to have the 11th pick. We can't climb past 9th really. We'd be 12th right now with Cleveland, TB, and Carolina I believe the only 3 teams that can pass us with a win. None are likely to win this week though. With a win I think we are still 13 maybe 14. I'd rather see some possitives to end a season for a change I'll take the 14th pick need be. No way do I want to see us loose to Buff.

You get sacked 11 times and see how you feel.

I don't know, perhaps most other Jets fans have read the follow up articles and they understand that Tebow didn't refuse to play last week ???

Isn't it the QB's responsibility to not get sacked?

And if a new GM is brought in and Rex gets canned, it makes no difference what he claims.

See the "conspiracy" idea has no gain or motive.

Winner, winner chicken dinner! The Jets have a MUCH better chance at trading Tebow versus Sanchez.

sure because Tebow did a full court PR backtrack press, 'refuting' the 'lies' leaked out about him - therefore what was said first is NOT true but what Tebow said IS true, and since he's a Christian he would never lie.

yes and no. If the question is a serious one, let me know and we can discuss it further if you wish.

McElroy's concussion (if he really does have one) is only temporary.
Sanchez has a permanent concussion.

You can't run from what you can't see. Sure, probably a majority of those 11 could've been avoided by someone of Brady's caliber, but on some of those the defense was in there so fast, either he didn't see them or have anytime at all to react. Don't get me wrong, I don't think we have the answer on the roster to our QB issue, but I'm not going to blame McElroy for all 11 sacks. The O-line looked like they were mailing it in.

Think it's more the case that Tebow has been under a press microscope for 7 years or more and has NEVER done anything of the sort. Therefore, it's totally out of character to the point of me being seriously doubtful that it happened as the first reports said.

Ron Jaworski saw it much the same way on ESPN as he doubted the reports as well.

Do some research. No one is faking a head injury.
What are you talking about? I never heard of someone getting a concussion and not getting a headache, blurry vision, nausea, or his equilibrium being off within 24 hours of the event. I know a kid that got concussed and did not show any conditions until later that night, but most people feel at least light headed right off. but for the conditions to show up 72 hours later is weird.

My guess is that he hid the symptoms for as long as he could in an effort to get another start.

Thats because Timmy always got his way. This time he didn't, and he had a tantrum. But by all means, continue with the excuses

You mean like when he was the backup to Chris Leak his Freshman year at Florida ?

Or when he was the third string backup his first year in the NFL ? Or when after starting 3 games to end the 2010 season, he once again found himself as the backup once Denver botched the Orton trade to Miami ?

Tell ya what sunshine, why don't you try to know what you are talking about before running your mouth ? It'd save you from looking foolish.
