And please, John Cena was promoting breast cancer awareness. Let's childishly complain about the sports allegiance of a public figure.

Bon Jovi shouldn't be allowed to sell out the Meadowlands either, he's a Pats fan!
ROFLMAO! "The story has been told???!!!!" What story do you believe??? The one where all three are on board with the great Tim Tebow being a pivotal player with the JETS???? How JETS fans need to wait until after pre season and then he will be unleashed??? WHAT A JOKE!!!

Your Bon Jovi statement makes no sense. JOHN CENA WAS HIRED BY THE JETS. John CENA is a PATS fan and a steroid abuser. This is the type of person that you want promoting the JETS and BREAST CANCER AWARENESS???? Only the Woody Johnson JETS would get a guy to promote breast cancer awareness who's occupation is directly linked to steroids which CAUSES CANCER!!!! AND HE IS A HUGE PATS FAN. But you see, that stuff doesnt matter to Woody Johnson. Who cares if this offends people with cancer and JETS fans? It can make him a lot of money for up coming WWE events at Met Life Stadium!!!

(Wink Wink $$$, the WWE also had a HUGE EVENT at Met Life Stadium after John Cena's appearance)

PATS fan John Cena promoting breast cancer awareness, good lord.

Because it didn't work the way you wanted it to, doesn't automatically make it false.

Where to begin? Doing a coin toss is not the equivalent of being hired by the Jets. Stop using dramatic words to try and make something bigger than it is. John Cena is not on the NYJ payroll, neither is McKayla Maroney or whoever else flipped a coin this year.

And finally, he's never been convicted of steroids, you have no idea whether he's a huge fan or a casual fan of the Patriots, and stop using caps lock. It's not that serious.

GM's that want to bring in their own coaches and control all operations are typically teams that are being completely blown up and restarting from scratch. Contrary to prior belief, this team has a decent foundation to build upon. Nothing is getting blown up. Tweaks and improvements, absolutely. But we're not in a dire situation here.

As much as Rex is thought of as a buffoon here, I bet there are more GM candidates in this league that would want to work with him than there are ones who would want to replace him.

Rex isn't going anywhere.
Most likely Correct. When the new GM takes over, Rex will get the chance to walk the wire over the flesh eating sharks. The team will be purged of any aging veteran with a questionable attitude. It's going to be a really young team that's not going to be expected to do much. In fact, Sanchez has been so bad I would strongly consider him as a June 1 cut, and the new GM may too. Any veteran at the minimum could give us more than what he did. Revis should likely be traded.

This roster needs way more than a coaching change, and the work will take a couple of years. Not the best position to be in if you're hiring a coach, and truth be told Rex hasn't been a terrible coach. He just needs a boss that will keep the ship tight with accountability. Tanny is a buffoon.

If Rex can somehow whip and underpayed young and shallow roster to compete, he might get even one more. If he doesn't, we're sitting at the top of the 2014 draft board with a new HC.

Which is why whomever they bring in over Rex is going to have to be a name. Someone a modest majority of STH's and advertisers will believe when he preaches patience. Polian, Holmgren, Accorsi et al.
