I'm sure there are others that have some of the blame. Coaches for example that didn't coach very well eg., Cavenaugh, Rex (burying his head in the sand last year. We brought in a wild cat OC that assumed Sanchez would be OK. Aging players, Injuries in key positions Revis and Holmes. Tebow experiment might be the owner. It is all to complicated to say Tannenbaum is responsible single handly for the plunge of the Jets; however, he is accountable.

If Tannenbaum is serving in a role he is good at, why should any of us care, he won't be the GM, he won't be making the decisions on the team, he won't be dealing with agents, he won't be running the draft room, etc etc. I just don't get the *****ing of this fanbase sometimes... |

1) tanny. traded too many picks, whiffed on a few high picks, and will forever be remembered as the guy who traded up for... 2) sanchez. never developed as hoped and has clearly regressed. turnover machine who, well, no need to bash here. 3) rex/schotty/sparano. rex gets blame for ignoring the offense for years. his ground and pound philosophy seems antiquated but considering who he has as qb, his best chance of winning was to run the ball and throw it sparingly. worse, he was bequeathed schotty, another woody fave, and then - we think - hired sparano on his own volition. it's possible tanny pushed him on rex. |

If new owners in CLE clean house, I'm up for giving Heckert a run - at least in the personel department. CLE has drafted quite well since his involvement.

Some of us feel it will have a negative impact on the new regime. You don't agree with that? Fine. Don't agree with it. But don't go around telling people on a message board how they should feel or how they should care. |

There is no reason to hate on Tannenbaum remaining with the team in a reassigned role. The most important change is that he will no longer be the GM, he will no longer be "running" the organization, that is what most want, and that is what is going to happen, but that isn't good enough, fans just need to *****.

For the saem reason that I care that you care? WTF are you talking about? There is NO negative impact to the team. NONE. Unless you're going to all predict he will be bad in his new role, which will most likely be back to serving in a role as capologist, or involved with player contracts, and probably some other administrative role on the team, it's a role NONE of us will ever see him peform, nor will we ever see impact of his new role against the new GM to take over. And I'm not telling people how they should feel about it you pathetic twit, I'm asking why are people upset about it. Learn to read. |

I just don't get the crazy responses from some of these fans. Now fans are basically pissed off because the guy will still be on the team's payroll, it's a response of bitterness about his performance as the GM, so now he MUST be sent as far away from the team as possible in their eyes, nevermind his new role will have NO impact on the new GM.

Well, guess what. That's not going to happen no matter how many f-bombs you drop or insults and name-calling you throw out. |
