I have never seen any organization be successful with the amount of groupthink that has plagued this one since Woody has owned the Jets. |

We don't know what Bradway's role will be after the new GM is hired. We still don't even know what Mike T's new role, but it's obvious it will be in the area of contracts and salaray cap management. And you are 100% wrong on your statement about how this doesn't happen in the corporate world. I don't know where you work, but I work in the corporate arena for a major investment firm, and this is done ALL the time. Though, I wouldn't at all equate the two scenarios, I don't think we can compare the corporate world with the NFL at all. |

Sure, I guess it worked okay with Bradway... but by all accounts Bradway didn't even want the GM title and preferred to return to a scout role. Tanny's going to step aside to do what? Crunch numbers? His rep as a 'cap guy' was build in the 1990s when the salary cap was new and most GMs hadn't figured out it's loopholes. To his credit, Tanny came up with a few. But that was ancient history- any GM in 2012 has a good grasp of cap and can crunch numbers just as well as Mr. T. |

Once Joey Clinkscales is hired(you know that's coming), maybe then he might decide "See ya, Rex!" like you wanted. But then again, maybe he might give him a "Lame-Duck" year to demonstrate to him that he deserves to stay.... We just don't know at this point. |

Just think, two GMs and two HCs
Just think, two GMs, one to make personnel decisions and one to make big contracts to the wrong players and low contract offers to the talented ones who will then walk. But if Rex is retained as HC, then we will have to hire a skilled OC who will have to tell the HC to butt out in meddling in the offensive plan and who is the starting QB. And what about who get priority on draft picks and free agent signings. Just think about the fights about those areas. Forget about play offs until that is resolved.

First of all nobody knows what the relationship between Ryan and Tanny has been. Who, for example, called the shots in players was it Tanny or Ryan ? Second Ryan is not going anywhere regardless of what mindless people like SAR think. He will be given one more season and if the team doesn't respond to him my guess he will be gone. While players love playing for Ryan it doesn't mean that his system works but I believe that Woody wants Ryan to stay and thus he will be here along with Sanchez. This team has a lot of needs and wants but when you look at some of the contracts over the years you really have to scratch your head and ask what the hell were they thinking? Ryan will take this team to the playoffs again just believe

That is all valid. But I don't want a GM that is going to feel threatened by Mike Tannenbaum.
If a GM comes here, establishes a good relationship with Woody and progress is seen, then Woody will be listening to Tanny (if he is at all) less and less. |

Blaming Tanny for the Jets season is a joke
Basically, it's giving Sanchez a pass.....because if he didn't suck, Tanny would still be here |

Its not the contracts that Tanny has a problem with. It's who he's giving them to. |

Tannenbaum sucks, the lack of talent on this team is shocking when you look at the elite teams like SF, Houston, Baltimore, etc.
And he certainly shouldn't be retained as a cap guy, just a stupid idea. Woody needs to stop being scared of change, there's lots of smart talented people out there who can do what Tannenbaum would be doing. |

And the owner shouldn't be listening to Tannenbaum at all with respect to personnel. |
