No... Head to head doesn't matter. Only strength of schedule.

I don't have a link but what he posted above is pretty much what I figured out. Let's go chargers and hopefully a miracle from zona.

I don't have a link. I figured it out myself. According to the rules the first tiebreaker is Strength of Schedule. It's odd but I don't believe head to head is a tie breaker

Head to Head only matters in the event of a 2 way tie. This will be more than a 2 way tie.

I'll take an 8-8 2nd place Jets picking 14th over a 6-10 last place Jets picking 8th.

As a reminder, Ghost, D-Rob and Sanchez all picked very high.

Mangold, Revis and Harris, all drafted late in the first.

Where you pick is not the answer, it's who you pick.
YES SIR. THIS. ALL picks matter. One great player will not change us.

Look at all the players drafted in rounds 2 to 5 over the years.

heck...watching Woodhead play well should tell you that this team coach hasn't a clue about building a team.

Having a top 10 pick now is more valuable than it was before the new CBA came into play. All of the guys you mentioned were picked when the previous CBA was in effect. Teams will trade up now because they don't have to give these huge backbreaking contracts to top picks anymore.

If you have multiple holes on your team that you need to fill, you can get A LOT for a top 10 pick. See what Atlanta gave up to get into the top 10 a couple years ago. The high second round pick is also a nice trade down piece.

Today's loss was a good thing.

WHY? I think his point is the difference between 8 and 9 can be nullified by not picking the right person.

Yes, and the Jets have high draft picks, which are great trade down pieces.

Because if they won, they would have been picking in the teens, probably. You will get a hell of a lot more with the 8th or 9th pick than you will for a pick in the teens.

People have been complaining about the lack of picks for years. Well, now we have the ammo to rebuild/reload.

Dickead stinks. A byproduct of Tammy's coattails. Just like the reinvention of Josh who was nothing short of a disaster at Denver and St. Louis. The same will be true for the sucker who hires Bill O' Brien as a head coach as is being speculated. The same can be said of the biggest fraud of them all, and distinguished cheater, Belicheat

Absolutely not!!!!! OLB is a need. If one of them are there Jets need to take and solify the strongest unit of the team. Then use the rest of the draft on offense. I would hope before the draft, the Jets look at free agency to add some talent on offense.

For all the gloom and doom sayers, with a few correct moves, the Jets can be right back in the mix next year. This is the NFL. Teams turnaround quickly.

trade down and draft Glennon or a qb of that nature. If we hit great if we don't draft a qb again next year. Time for trial and error

The jets should trade out of the spot and acquire someone's first round pick in 2014. They need to load up the ammo because there may be two franchise Qbs available that year
