If we go G I will hunt down the new GM and kick him in his stupid nuts. Top ten picks should never for any reason be TE, G, K, P, or FB. I have a hard enough time seeing DT go that early. Get a position of value don't fill an easy role.

Jets NEED TO GO "BPA" ON *OFFENSE* with the 9th pick. End of story. There's no room for debate here. The GM would be tarred and feathered if he went anywhere except focusing on the Offense in the early part of the draft. |

Sad part is none of our needs really match that pick. I'd love a QB but doubt Geno or Barkley is there Wilson I just can't take there. Keenan Allen if healthy may be worth a look as Holmes replacement next year but that doesn't really fill a need this year. On D if Moore is there at 9 and that seems likely to me it will be a hard pass. But also could be a good sell. Trade back with say TB let them have Moore and get their 2nd or 3rd. Draft Allen, Wilson, or a G/RT and still have anther 2nd/3rd to get a good OLB.

The Jets have a HORRIBLE scouting team. The best thing that can happen is getting a new GM with a proven record of building up teams and who brings in most of his own guys and flushes much of this staff. I am hoping that a new regime will bring MAJOR changes and keep the remaining coaching staff on a short leash.
It is apparent that Rex is too buddy, buddy with his players and needs to be forced to exert some discipline. It has to be made clear to Rex that he needs to show results or he's gone. |
