Rex on probation

The hiring of a new GM is a good start to get this franchise back on track. You can bet that the new GM will have the ultimate decision on players and staff which means that Rex will be interviewing for his job all next season as will every player and staff. The new GM does not have to get along with Rex; Rex has to win him over that he can coach this team to the Super Bowl with the right talent and staff.

The HC picks his staff not the GM.. If the GM wants a complete change he gets rid of the HC..

Rex is very likeable, a hard worker, motivational, dedicated etc; however, sometimes character strengths can become flaws eg., loyalty to Sanchez. I heard after the Buffalo game he had a nice talk with Sanchez. It is time to move away from Sanchez but Ryan can't.

A new GM needs to step in and make Sanchez disappear or be QB # 4.

Rex should be cautioned very sternly that if he doesn't start to focus on the smaller things and direct his loyalty in the right direction, he'll be looking for another job after this season.

Rex is a complete idiot for constantly going with Sanchez all this game. WTF could he have been thinking when he said, "FU winning, I am loyal to MY boy Sanchez".

Put it this way...

If he does anything even remotely as dumb as that next season? He probably won't make it through the whole season, they'll likely fire him in mid season.

Memories,
Like the corners of my mind

Misty water-colored memories
Of the way we were

Scattered pictures,
Of the smiles we left behind

Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were

Can it be that it was all so simple then?
Or has time re-written every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again
Tell me, would we? could we?

Memories, may be beautiful and yet
What's too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget

So it's the laughter

We will remember
Whenever we remember...
The way we were...
The way we were

Rex's "loyalty" to Sanchez is the most overblown thing on this board. The reason Sanchez started for so long, was that the other QBs on the roster, Noodle2.0, and Jesus were actually WORSE.

Rex was not trying to coddle sanchez, Rex was trying to win games. Sanchez is/was horrible, but he's better than the other two on our roster.

People need to move off of this point because its wrong, and beaten to death.
