why wouldnt woody clean house and show the prospective gm he means business and ensures them they will assemble the coaching staff.

this would lure better candidates to want this job. the uncertaintity of taking a job and having to keep on old coaches will scare many away.

Moron-o knows exactly where he stands

they will hire a GM

and the GM will take care of coaching staff and scouting/personnel staff changes

plenty of time to make prudent and correct decisions for a change
