What is most insulting to me is how Cimini and some of these other "journalists" pretend that they are complaining because they really care about us, the fans. They make it seem like we are being done a diservice because Woody Johnson did not have a press conference and instead, issued a statement. What a load of ****.

The reality is that the Jets fans are in a lose-lose situation. If Woody Johnson, Rex Ryan etc do not give a press conference then we do not get the full picture of the state of our team. If they do give a press conference (and we do not hear it first hand) then we do not get a real picture of the state of the team because the New York media makes up story lines to sell papers.

Either way, the New York Jets fan base is being done a diservice.

For the last two years, all we hear from everyone is that the Jets talk too much and need to stop talking. Now, they are not talking and it is a problem?

Several anonymous sources claimed New York Jets beat writer Manish Mehta is the biggest fraud in sports journalism. "Hes a fraud" one highly respected person said. "I can believe he still has a job". Mehta has been in media as of late and has been criticized for pulling stories out of his ass.
